Annet goes to US and interests for Belgrade
It is clear that the "Angels.." are not crying anymore for Annet Artani, who represented Cyprus in Eurovision in Athens 2 years ago but was surprisingly shut out of the finals after her powerful performance of "Why Angels Cry". Annet had taken a break from performing in Greece for a while after Eurovision, in order to focus on her next album- which would be in English; she traveled to the U.S., to Sweden, to Canada, writing with several world renowned writer/producers, and found her match in Marcus Moser of the successful electronic dance group, Iio http://www.myspace.com/iio. Annet has been recording her album for a while now, choosing which songs will go on the record, and is set to release it in the middle of 2008, worldwide!
To listen to some of the new songs, Annet has them exclusively on www.myspace.com/annetartanimusic for her fans. Her management and label are very excited about her album and she is set to break boundaries with her strongly emotional lyrics and powerful voice. The Annet people got to know through Eurovision is nothing like the Annet on this album. If you thought her voice blew you away on that night in Athens, then prepare yourselves for what she has in store for you in 2008! And as for Annet's Greek fans, the wait will soon be over for her next Greek album following "Mia Foni" (Annet's debut album), due in mid 2008, which will also include many surprises!
Oikotimes.com asked Annet Artani whether she is interested or not to participate again for the Eurovision Song Contest and she said she would think about it but for Greece this time.
