After having her second child in 2005, Mando decided to take some time off her career to dedicate to her family. Two years later, Mando returns with not one but two new albums on the way, one for Greece due in early 2008 and one for the international market in English.
Currently, Mando, who represented Greece in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest, is appearing together with Paschalis (Greece 1977) and Sophia Arvaniti (Greek NF 87) at the On the Rocks club in Athens. The three artists perform a medley of Eurovision entries - Mathema Solfege, Never let you go and My number one.
Mando is also busy in studio recording the songs for her new album to be released in the Greek market sometime in early 2008. In-between shows and studio work, Mando flies off to the USA and Scandinavia where- in cooperation with resounding international names- she is working on new songs for an international album in English. She has been working with the Deekay production team (Blue, Jamelia, Gareth Gates) and songwriter Michael Jay who has worked with Kylie Minogue, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian, Johnny Logan and Gloria Estephan among others.
