Παράσταση γιά έναν ρόλο αποδείχθηκαν τα φετινά MTV Music Awards. Ο λόγος, βεβαίως, γιά τη Lady Gaga η οποία τράβηξε όλα τα βλέμματα αλλά καί σχεδόν όλα τα βραβεία πάνω της. Συνηθισμένη στις εκκεντρικές εμφανίσεις, στην τελετή απονομής, κατάφερε να ξεπεράσει ακόμα καί τον εαυτό της, φορώντας ένα φόρεμα που το υλικό του θύμιζε …ωμό κρέας!

Όσον αφορά τα βραβεία, έφυγε με οχτώ από τη σεμνή αυτή, όπως αποδείχθηκε, τελετή. Μεταξύ άλλων κέρδισε βραβείο για το καλύτερο βίντεο της χρονιάς, καλύτερο γυναικείο βίντεο, καλύτερο ποπ βίντεο, καλύτερο χορευτικό βίντεο, καλύτερη χορογραφία σε βίντεο, καλύτερη σκηνοθεσία σε βίντεο. Κοινός παρονομαστής των παραπάνω βραβείων ήταν το τραγούδι “Bad Romance” που αναδείχθηκε νικητής στις παραπάνω κατηγορίες.
Στα θετικά της βραδιάς ήταν τα δύο βραβεία που απέσπασε ο Eminem, αλλά καί η εμφάνιση του επί σκηνής με τη Rihanna. Το πρώτο του βραβείο κέρδισε καί ο Justin Bieber, αυτό του πρωτοεμφανιζόμενου καλλιτέχνη. Καλύτερο βίντεο για ροκ τραγούδι ήταν το “Kings And Queens” των, ιδιαίτερα ταλαντούχων, 30 Seconds To Mars.
