Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες των φετινών MTV Video Music Awards, η απονομή των οποίων θα γίνει στο Los Angeles στις 28 Αυγούστου. Ανατρέποντας τα δεδομένα τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες συγκέντρωσε η Katy Perry, η οποία θα είναι υποψήφια σε 9 κατηγορίες ενώ η Adele παρέα με τον Kanye West, σε 7 κατηγορίες.
Η Lady GaGa, η οποία πέρυσι σάρωσε φέτος θα έχει μόνο τρεις υποψηφιότητες ενώ από τις κατηγορίες δε λείπουν η Beyonce, η Britney Spears, ο Eminem, ο Chris Brown, η Nicki Minaj, οι 30 Seconds to Mars, οι Linkin Park και πολλοί ακόμα.
